It gets 12.8 highway or city, It doesn’t matter if i drive 60 or 90

Haven’t taken my GTI on an extended highway trip but in the short highway runs I’ve done I saw about 36 mpg, 2016 GTI. My E30 Touring returned 31 mpg over a five hour highway stint. Not bad for a 27 year old, straight six wagon.

My G35 Coupe? EPA says 24 highway and I’d say closer to 21-23 in reality. Having a 20 gallon tank helps a bit.
The Audi is unknown because I don’t drive it much at all. I knowww it sucks in city. 15-16ish.

2006 Mercury Mariner, 24mpg at interstate speeds and slightly higher at rural highway speeds. My 2005 Mustang GT used to get up to 30 on rural highways. Such is aerodynamics and gearing.

Please buy ours cars desperation, with the TDIs out of the lineup they have nothing else to attract people with how meh the rest of the lineup is.
The last time I had my TDI in for service I walked around the lot to see what gas engined car I would go for if my TDI magically gets bought back. The answer is the GSW with the DSG since you can’t get the 6 speed with the gas engine. I’m honestly hoping if they do a buyback I can just walk away...right to the Subaru dealer.

‘98 M3 5AT gets 28-30 usually. I used to complain about bad gas mileage but it turns out I was just driving way more than I thought I was and the car is actually killing it on the mpg front.
‘94 Safari 4.3 4AT gets... About 10. Mostly because you have to basically floor it to maintain highway speed unless you're on totally level surfaces.
